Transitioning From Halloween to Thanksgiving in That Awkward After-Frost Phase

Anyone else struggling with that awkward in-between Halloween/Christmas period where your yard is just blah because the frost killed off most of your plants by now, ESPECIALLY your beloved mums that were acting as fillers in your otherwise barren pots? An easy solution to get you through until you are ready to decorate for Christmas is to cut back your Nandina shrubs a bit (if you don’t have any of those, plant some…like yesterday) and stick your clippings into your pots! Throw in some pumpkins and you are ready to rock what’s left of the fall season! Huge shout out to my Momma, AKA Boo Boo for this idea and for helping me spruce up my yard this past weekend ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ
